From The Dunes is a 4-piece rock band from Perth, Western Australia originally started in 2005 as a garage project by a bunch of sundrenched teenagers who had been longtime school friends. They decided to ditch their classical music instruments and taught themselves how to play guitar and write music of their own, being inspired by iconic artists at the time such as Powderfinger, Wolfmother, MGMT and Radiohead.

 

Almost two decades on now, the band's music has continuously evolved and matured, drawing influence from a wide range of artists and genres. Our music is driven by a powerful rhythm section with melodic guitars, that are delicately balanced against sing-along pop/rock vocals. Despite the music industry's ever-changing appetite for rock, we remain passionate about both writing and performing music from this genre.

 

We are proudly fronted by Renae Wilson (Vocals), with Andrew Knox (Guitar), Nathan Pong (Bass) & Alex Keil (Drums).
